Permanent makeup is the answer to always looking freshly made up without the maintenance it implies. Our natural looks are subtly highlighted and eyes, eyebrows and lips are perfect, every day. Makeup beautifies our features and help us feel more polished. But who has never felt rushed in the morning and thought they could have done better? How many times do we get the eyeliner on and both eyes don’t look the same? Not to mention liner smudges or lipstick that doesn’t stay on all day. Permanent Cosmetics consist of micro pigmentation application that replicates the effect of traditional makeup, a technique comparable to tattooing. While you can complement it with the application of eye shadows, the goal is to reduce the need for traditional makeup while producing a natural look. You can have permanent makeup applied to just the eyebrows or go all out and include eyelids, lashes, and lips. The technique is especially adapted to persons who suffer from allergies to makeup products, or wish to make the shape of their brows and lips more perfect and symmetrical

Before Your Procedure
No sun, includes tanning bed, 1 week before any procedure. No Chlorine 1 week before procedure. Discontinue all anti aging products 10 days before procedure. Discontinue Latisse. 1 month prior to procedure. When getting eyeliner, get plenty of sleep the night before. Benadryl (OTC) is very helpful with watering and swelling when taken the night before and again 1 hour after eyeliner procedure. Do not come in wearing waterproof mascara, as it will cause irritation when removed. Allow 2 hours for first procedures, being relaxed and allowing plenty of time is important. Please do not bring small children to your appointment. No alcohol the day before your appointment. No blood thinners for one week before appointment.(i.e. aspirin, ibuprofen, etc) Please be open and honest about all medical issues, concerns and medications. If you have ever had a cold sore in the past,(ever!) please call your doctor for an anti-viral prescription.****This is extremely important!****
After Your Procedure
Although everyone is different, there’s a few things that will most likely occur after your procedure. After each procedure is completed you should expect some swelling: especially on the eyes and lips. The type of technique used, amount and size of the area will play a part in how much swelling will occur. Also client’s age, and overall skin health will be a factor as well. Ice packs(a sterile surface is very important.) 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off through the day and evening is usually sufficient. After every procedure a light application of Bacitracin will be applied and client is given some to take home. Bacitracin is to be applied to the procedure area 3 times daily with a Q-tip.*Do not apply beyond the first 3 days.* Color will appear much darker and heavier for the first week or so and will lighten/soften after the healing process is complete. This process is different for everyone and other than severe itching or redness is normal. Most everyone experiences some light peeling or flaking; Do not help this process along. In other words, no picking, pulling rubbing, etc. After initial procedure is done you will be scheduled for a follow up appointment. (Usually 4-6 weeks out.) This is very important part of the process; a ‘fine tuning’. You will not be charged for the follow up appointment. You have 1 full year to freshen up your procedure as well, without any charge. You will be given verbal and written instructions for aftercare of each procedure.
